Advanced Chance Champs – Tuesday

A continuation of probability and statistics topics for intermediate students

This class is designed as a follow-up to Chance Champs and builds on those topics. In this 200-level course, we will build on our knowledge with hands-on activities by learning about combinations, permutations, spinners, Blackjack, and Texas Hold ‘Em! We will spend significant time looking at the math behind card games (but not learning how to bet/gamble), complete with a poker tournament!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the advanced nature of these math topics, this class is limited ONLY to 4th and 5th graders, as well as any 3rd graders who have previously completed Chance Champs. 2nd and 3rd graders interested in probability should sign up for regular Chance Champs on Fridays!
