Junior Engineering Club – Engineering for Kids

Junior Engineering Club will explore various engineering disciplines through exciting, hands-on projects.

Join us this Fall for a new session of Engineering Club, where we’ll work on completely NEW challenges! No prerequisites required. During this session, Engineers will explore Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil, and Software Engineering in a fun, hand-on approach to virtual learning with a live instructor.  Students will be introduced to new concepts, conduct open discussions, and build hands-on projects to reinforce and to further explore ideas. Get ready for an exciting session of engineering fun!

Days of Week: Thursdays

Time: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Dates of classes: 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17 – 11  Classes

Grade: K-2

Conferencing Format: Zoom

You will need access to a device running Zoom conferencing software to access video and voice communication.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Engineers! Engineering for Kids offers the blend of STEM education and fun for children ages 4 – 12. Our wide-ranging curriculum embraces foundational engineering concepts and helps students build lifelong skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking and analysis, teamwork and collaboration, through exciting hands-on engineering projects. From building rockets to wind turbines to skyscrapers and more, our programs explore all the different disciplines of engineering (aerospace, chemical, civil, environmental, and more) and leverage a wide variety of materials to create a fun, supportive and hands-on environment.
